JASON ALLAN WETZEL, 49, of Follansbee, WV died peacefully on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Trinity West in Steubenville, OH. Jason was born on December 9, 1973, in Waterloo, IA, the son of Rosemary E. Wetzell of Rothbury, MI. Jason is preceded in death by a brother, Joshua Lee Wetzel; and a daughter, Hannah E. Tonini. Jason worked at Grove Manor in Grove City, PA as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Jason was Lutheran by faith. In his spare time, he loved dirt track racing, baseball, football, and riding motorcycles. In addition to his mother Jason is survived by, his fiancé Rebecca (DiCarli) Henry of Follansbee, WV; ten children; five grandchildren; one brother, Matt Wetzel of IA; and one sister, Heather of Prescott, AZ. There was no visitation. All services and inurnment were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were under the direction of Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
