KAY LAVUGHN CRAWFORD CHASE, 83, of Follansbee, WV passed away November 7, 2023, at Brightwood Center, Follansbee. She was born May 24, 1940, in Wheeling, WV to the late Bernard and Junelda Churchman Crawford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Allen Chase, who passed in 2016; two brothers, Robert and Donald Crawford; and a sister, Mildred Crawford. She is survived by her three sons: Ricky A. Chase of Beaver, PA, Calvin Chase (Dena) of North Huntingdon, PA, and Wayde Chase (Tammy) of Colliers, WV; two daughters, Christina Chase of Follansbee, WV, and Charlet Bennett of Wellsburg, WV; a brother, Bernard “Sonny” Crawford (Wilma) of Wellsburg; eleven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Visitation was held on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg. The funeral service was held Monday, November 13, 2023, with Pastor Tim Colvin officiating.
