Simply Christmas Event to be Held

Brooke Hills Park, located at 140 Gist Lane, Wellsburg will hold a “Simply Christmas” event Saturday, Dec. 2, from 12-4 p.m., at the park.
This Christmas event will celebrate the spirit of Christmas with friends, family, and community.
There will be food, entertainment, games, a Gingerbread Lane treat trail and ornament and cookie decorating free for kids, online ugly sweater contest, raffles, photo ops, memory tree and much more.
Vendors will also be present selling baked goods, gifts items, decorations and more.
The Grinch will make an appearance and a Grinch hot cocoa bar will be available.There will be a fireplace and open pit fires throughout the event to warm up by.
Those attending are invited to bring a toy or canned good for the Salvation Army or mittens, scarf or hat for the give and take Christmas tree.
