Audrey Irene Bryant

AUDREY IRENE BRYANT, 88, passed away December 6, 2023, at Carriage Inn, Steubenville, OH. Audrey was born to her beloved mother Mary Bryant on Sunday evening February 24, 1935, in Wellsburg. She lived her entire life in Wellsburg going through her school years from First Grade to High School graduating in the Class of 1953. Shortly after graduation Monongahela Power called Audrey offering her a job in their Wellsburg Office which she anxiously and graciously accepted. That turned into a 43-year career retiring as Customer Accounting Supervisor. She is a lifelong member of the Community of Christ, serving as Deacon and Congregational Financial Officer. Audrey was very active throughout her life belonging to the Kiwanis Club for 35 years, serving as President for two terms and actively serving on many committees. She sat on the Salvation Army Advisory Council since 1996 and served as Chairperson. She belonged to the Alpha Theta Chapter of the Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority for over 45 serving as President and Treasurer. She is survived by special nieces and nephews Barb and Ed Stipandic and family, Harlene and Gary Lilly, Sheila and Harold Jones, Sharon Crabtree, Sara Lilly, Jessica and Jason Malinky, and Max Malinky; close cousins Janeen and Manuel Markos, Greg and Cindy Crabtree, Terry Adams, John (Moe Moe) and Linda Crabtree, Susan and Frank Slanchik, Eunice Mae Crabtree, Margaret and Howard Lauck and families; and several other cousins. Visitation was held on Friday, December 8, 2023 until the time of the service, at Reasner Funeral Home. Wellsburg, with Elder Joy Leasure officiating.
