KENNETH M. HART, 74, of Wellsburg, WV, the angels escorted him peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Valley Hospice Care Center North with his family by his side. He was born on April 25, 1949, in Fairmont, WV, a son of the late William M. and Mary Kathryn (Rexroad) Hart. Kenneth graduated from Fairmont Senior High School. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in industrial arts Comprehensive from Fairmont State College and he also earned his master’s degree from West Virginia University in Administration Education. Kenneth worked for the Brooke County Board of Education for 33 years as a Teacher, Principal, and Coach. He was a member of the Foundery Church in Wellsburg, WV and was also on The Foundery Board of Administration. He was a member of the Wellsburg Salvation Army Council, Brooke County Retired Teachers Association and the Northern Panhandle Car Club. In Kenneth’s spare time he enjoyed spending time in the nature that God has created and also spending time with his children and grandchildren. Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra (Phillips) Hart at home; three sons, Eric (Alexandra) Hart of Wintersville, OH, Jeffrey Hart of Bethany, WV, and Kristopher (Christy) Hart of Wellsburg, WV; four grandchildren, Savanna, Jeffrey, Vance, and Abbagail; one great grandson, Ezra; three brothers: William Mark (Cathy) Hart of Georgetown, CO, Daniel (Sharon) Hart of Lost Creek, WV, and Jonathan (Julie) Hart of Grand Canyon, AZ; one sister, Marcella (Vinton) Rankin of Rio Grande, OH; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation for Kenneth was held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee and again on Thursday, December 14, 2023 until the time of the funeral service, with Pastors Amy Openbrier and David Keister officiating, at the Foundery Church, Wellsburg. Interment followed at Franklin Cemetery.
