Rosemary (Przebeszvski) Kyanko

ROSEMARY (PRZEBESZVSKI) KYANKO, 87, of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Monday, December 4, 2023, at her home with her family by her side. She was born on October 7, 1936, in Shadyside, OH a daughter of the late John and Alice (Boiarski) Przebeszvski. Rosemary graduated from Shadyside High School and Martins Ferry School of Nursing. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and worked for Martins Ferry and Wheeling Hospital Continuous Care as a Registered Nurse. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Kyanko at home; three children: Eric (Fele) Kyanko, Mark (Mari Jo) Kyanko both of Wellsburg, WV, and Stacie (Harry) West of Vernon, FL; two grandchildren, Thomas (Jackie)Kyanko and Elizabeth (Shane) Roush; three great grandchildren, Oliver, Patrick, and Jackson; two sisters, Alice “Toots” DeFranco and Priscilla Reed of Charlottesville, VA; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Rosmary’s family would like to give a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice especially Amber, Darla, and Jonathan, along with Sherry Crawford for the great care Rosemary received. Visitation for Rosemary was held on Monday, December 11, 2023. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. A Catholic Funeral Mass immediately followed at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Wellsburg, with Father Justin Golna officiating. Interment followed at Franklin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Johns Catholic Church, specifically for the elevator fund.
