Patricia Ann Whitlatch

PATRICIA ANN WHITLATCH, 85, of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Bishop Hodges Continuous Care in Wheeling, WV. She was born on August 18, 1938, in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Francis J. and Virginia (Ragase) Joyce. In addition to her parents Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Elzie “Ross” Whitlatch; and one sister, Theresa Pietz. Patricia graduated from Wheeling High School. She worked for the old Barth’s Shoe Store, later named Michael’s as a store clerk. Patricia was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Wellsburg. She is survived by three daughters: Sheryl (Charles) Baker of Naples, FL, Lisa (Mike) Conaway and Nadine Whitlatch and fiancé Dave Jaynes both of Wellsburg, WV; seven grandchildren: Lindsey (Stephen) King, Rossalyn Richard and Rachel (Evan) Richard-Heslep, Sarah Conaway, Erin Conaway and fiancé Hal Bailey, and Katherine (Austin) West, and John Dearl Francis; two great grandsons, Connor and Aiden King; a new great granddaughter, Baby Girl West; special cousins, Freda and Jack and daughter Jackie Hammers. There was no visitation. A Celebration of Life Service is being planned for the near future. Arrangements were under the direction of Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
