STEVEN CHRISTOPHER DREXLER, 48, of Colliers, WV, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 15, 2023 at his residence from complications of PLS after his recent diagnoses. Steven was born on December 8, 1975 in Steubenville, OH. He was the son of Salvatore “Sal” Drexler and Mary (Mills) Drexler of Colliers, WV. Steven was a 1995 graduate of Brooke High School playing Trumpet in the Marching Band. He went on to graduate from Northwestern Technical with a degree in Automotive Tech. He was baptized at St. Anthony Catholic Church and attended Colliers United Methodist Church. Steven worked for 10 years at Matthew Chevrolet, Brilliant, OH. Many will remember Steven for being a boy scout in the Colliers Troop, his love of welding and cutting grass; but most of all, for his devotion for anything his dad was doing. In addition to his parents, Steven is survived by his two sisters, Renee Drexler of Fayetteville, NC and Heather McDonald and her husband, David of Colliers, WV; niece, Ellie McDonald; nephew, Jarod McDonald; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends were received on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 until the time of the prayer service, at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, with Pastor Larry Garrison leading. Interment was held privately at St. John Cemetery Haven of Rest, Colliers.
