Kenneth Wayne “Kenny” Henry, Sr.

KENNETH WAYNE “KENNY” HENRY, SR., 70, of Beech bottom WV, died peacefully on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. He was born on August 12, 1953 in Follansbee West, Virginia, a son of the late, William R Henry Sr. and Lillian M (Atwell) Henry. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by six brothers: William Jr., James, Donald, John, Charles, and Raymond Henry; two sisters, Norma Koren and Marjorie Smith; and two infant sisters. Kenny retired from Danny Hukill Construction where he worked for many years as a contractor. He was also a member of the McKinleyville Church of Christ. Kenny is survived by his wife, Donna (Smith) Henry at home; three children: Kenneth Henry of Beech bottom, WV, Alisha (Eddie) Coen of Weirton, WV, and Amanda Lucas and companion Chuckie Dobbs of McMechen, WV; five grandchildren: Josephyne and Chaz, Schaefer, Edda Coen and companion Peyton Veres, MacKenzie Lucas, Aleigha Lucas, and Charlie Dobbs, III; five great grandchildren: Shyanne, Autumn, Laiden, Landon, and Grayson; four brothers: Richard and Judy Henry of Wellsburg, WV, Thomas and Carmen Henry of Arlington, VA, Ronald and Cindy Henry of Wellsburg, WV, and Joe Henry of Wellsburg; three sisters-in-law: Bonnie Henry, Bernice Henry, and Reva DiCarli; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation for Kenny was held on Friday, December 29, 2023 until the time of the funeral service, at the Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee with Pastor Lawrence Kimball officiating. Interment was held privately at the convenience of the family.
