NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO CHANGE RATES
IC CAB, LLC
CASE NOS. 23-0741-MC-19A, 23-0742-MC-19A, 23-0743-MC-19A, and 23-0744-MC-19A
On September 5, 2023, IC Cab, LLC, filed an application with the Public Service Commission of West Virginia requesting increased rates and charges for its customers. The Staff of the Public Service Commission has reviewed the application and made the following recommendations.
Currently, the rates for IC Cab LLC’s taxi services are:
Meter Charge $1.50 per first 1/3 mile
$0.20 per each additional 1/6 mile
Packages $1.00 per trip
Waiting Times $12.00 per hour
The new proposed rates are:
Meter charge $2.25 per mile
Minimum Charge $6.00
(Meter Charge will be prorated for each 1/10th mile)
The Commission may adopt rates and charges for the Applicant which are greater than, the same as, or less than the Staff-recommended rates and charges.
Anyone desiring to protest the proposed changes must do so in writing within ten days of the date of publication of this notice. All protests should be addressed to the Executive Secretary, Public Service Commission of West Virginia, P.O. Box 812, Charleston, WV 25323. To help the Commission determine the justification for additional review and investigation, protests should be specific as to reasons that the changed rates and charges should be modified. In addition, anyone desiring a hearing in this matter must demand a hearing in the letter of protest. If no substantial protest is filed, the Staff-recommended rates may be approved without hearing. The application and Staff recommendations are also available online. Customers may also file a comment electronically at the Commission website.
