Shane Allen Cutone

SHANE ALLEN CUTONE, 29, of Colliers, WV passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. He was born on December 24, 1994, to his parents Tina Marra Stickles and Jay Cutone. Shane graduated from Oak Glen High School and furthered his studies at West Liberty University. Shane was currently employed at Timet in Toronto, OH in the finance department. Known for his caring nature, charismatic personality, and dependability, Shane was not only a loving son and grandson but also a devoted father and brother. His journey into fatherhood began at the young age of 16 when his son Anthony Haught-Cutone was born. Despite the challenges, Shane worked tirelessly to provide for his son, exemplifying responsibility, and commitment. Shane and Anthony shared a special bond, often enjoying their time together at Wheeling Nailer Hockey games. Beyond fatherhood, Shane was a talented guitarist and a skilled cook. In his leisure time, Shane cherished moments spent with family and friends, engaging in activities such as hiking, camping, and target shooting. Fond memories of his childhood kindness surfaced as he used his own money to ensure his mother had Christmas presents under the tree, showcasing a sweet and thoughtful nature that endured throughout his life. Shane was preceded in death by his grandfather, Johnny Marra, and step-grandfather, Ron Richards. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and his legacy will be remembered for his unwavering love, generosity, and the positive impact he made on the lives of those around him, including; his mother, Tina (Marra) Stickles, his father, Jay Cutone, his 12-year-old son, Anthony Haught-Cutone, his brother, Landon Stickles, and his grandparents Maryann and Blaine McCartney and their daughter, Blayne “Layne” McCartney and Melanie Richards and Phil (Vickie) Cutone. A visitation to celebrate Shane’s life was held at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, Weirton, where the funeral service immidiately commenced following visitation.
