Johnny Michael Snyder

JOHNNY MICHAEL SNYDER, 65, of Wellsburg, WV passed away January 11, 2024, at home. He was born September 14, 1958, in Sutton, WV to Jack and Doris (Riffle) Snyder. He was the owner/operator of Snyder’s Marathon in Wellsburg, WV. Johnny was known for his mechanic work from rebuilding motors, his many project cars, trucks, and mud racers. In his spare time, he enjoyed boating and motorcycles. After retirement he spent his days being Pappy to his best buddy Jackson. He was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Ostrosky on January 4, 1987. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 45 years, Robin (Hukill) Snyder; his daughter, Michelle Snyder Temple (Robert) of Greendale, IN; a sister, Rebecca Schultz (Donald) of Brookeville, IN; and his grandson, Jackson E. Temple of Greendale, IN. Visitation was held on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg. Visitation was haled again on Monday, January 15, 2024, until the time of the service at the funeral home, with Pastor Jim Seabright officiating. Interment followed at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Wellsburg.
