LENDALL LEON YEATER, 81, of Colliers, WV died peacefully on Saturday, January 27, 2023, at Valley Hospice Care North in Steubenville, OH. Born on March 3, 1942, in Ashley, WV, a son of the late Burley and Bessie (Morgan) Yeater. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Ann (Barker) Yeater on August 3, 2020; two sisters, Betty Wagner and Inez Gossett; and his brother, Arnold Yeater. After a long career as an electrician with Weirton Steel Corporation he retired and was a member of the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club. He was also a past volunteer fireman with the Colliers Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Brooke County Sportsman’s Club. Lendall was a member of the Open-Door Baptist Church. Lendall is survived by four children: Lendall (Dottie) Yeater of Tennessee, Lisa (John) Guida of Steubenville, OH, Suzan (Scott) Bowen of Alabama, and Gregory (Lety) Yeater of Follansbee, WV; one brother, Brooks Yeater of Enterprise, WV; four grandchildren, Krista, Christopher, Nicole, and Emily; six step grandchildren: Ali, Kaitlyn, Morgan, Victoria, Brody, and Emma; great grandchildren, Mason, Ty, Eli, Leticia, Grayson, Thea, and Allison; a special extended family member who was like a daughter, Deeble Michelle Bernard-Allsbrooks of Pennsylvania; along with several nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 and again on Thursday, February 1, 2024 until the time of funeral services, at the Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee, with Rev.
