EDWARD LEON “ED” ZEIGLER, 64, of Weirton, WV died on Tuesday, February 6, 2023, at home. He was born on May 12, 1959, in Weirton, WV, a son of the late Bruce Jackson and Naomi Belle (Wilcox) Zeigler. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife Patricia Dawn (Murray) Zeigler. Ed graduated from Brooke High School. He worked at Weirton Steel Corporation as a millwright. He enjoyed listening to vinyl records and coin collecting. Ed is survived by his only son, Scott (Amanda) Zeigler of Follansbee, WV; one granddaughter, Evelyn; three siblings: David Zeigler of Richmond, OH, Debra Ingram of Weirton, WV, and Linda Lamp of Wintersville, OH; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Per his request, there was no visitation. All services were held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment was held at New Cumberland Cemetery, New Cumberland, WV. Arrangements were entrusted to Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Mullenbach Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
