Explore and Learn Storytime at the Library

The Brooke County Public Library will be holding an evening explore and learn storytime with Miss Kim on Thursday, March 7 at 5 p.m. Children will enjoy a story and hands on activities. “Bearer of the Morning” is a 54-minute documentary highlighting Te Ata’s extraordinary life as a Chickasaw woman. Her talent and passion opened the eyes and hearts of the world to first American culture. The documentary details how she transcended cultural ad racial barriers to create a lasting legacy during a career that spanned more than 60 years.
