JOHN B. DEMATTEIS, 73, of Weirton, WV passed away peacefully in the early hours of Monday morning, February 26, at the Weirton Medical Center after a courageous battle with throat cancer. Johnny graduated from Follansbee High School in 1968 and shortly after began his 25-plus year career with Weirton Steel until his retirement from Arcelor Mittal.
