PAUL (PETE) EUGENE SPENCER, 90, of Weirton, WV entered eternal life, Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Weirton Medical Center. He was born in Power, WV on January 6, 1934 to Earl Edward and Jessie (Shreves) Spencer. He was employed at the coke plant in Follansbee, WV for 40 years, returning in December of 1995. He was a Korean War Army Veteran. He married Donna Thompson Spencer on 20th of February, 1956. He became an artist after the death of is wife though had been a good sketcher, but his wife was a very accomplished artist; he decided to become a painter and had been a member of the Steubenville and the Weirton Art Associations. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded by a brother Carl (Sonny) Spencer. His is survived by his son, Mark of Steubenville, OH, and a sister Barbara (Buster) Blake of Wheeling, WV. Pete was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Follansbee. Visitation took place on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg. The funeral service will be held Friday, March 15, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
