SHAYNA MARIE BAKER, 27, of Colliers, WV died tragically on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Weirton Medical Center following a motor vehicle accident. She was born on October 16, 1996, in Weirton, WV, a daughter of Sheri (Reese) Baker of Follansbee, WV and Mark Baker of WV. Shayna is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dolores and David Reese; her paternal grandparents; and a cousin, Carly Reese. Shayna was a 2015 graduate of Brooke High School. She was a former employee for Hancock County EMS and currently an EMT for Murrysville, PA and was currently attending Paramedic School through WVNCC. Shayna was a volunteer firefighter for Franklin Community Volunteer Fire Department and later Oakland Volunteer Fire Department. She had a love for horses and her two furry companions Piper and Gracie, and most of all lending a hand to help others. She was Christian by faith. In addition to her parent,s Shayna is survived by her aunt, Christie Brown of Follansbee, WV, and her Uncle Mike (Kathy) Reese of Columbus, OH, and several cousins. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 12 p.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 1 p.m., with Pastor Joy Leasure officiating at Mullenbach Funeral Home.
