Bethany College Eases Financial Burden for Prospective Students Waiting on FAFSA Updates

Bethany College has announced a proactive initiative to alleviate financial uncertainty for prospective students who are currently experiencing issues related to the nationwide update of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The delay in FAFSA updates has left many in limbo, unable to determine their eligibility for federal aid. Recognizing the stress this situation brings, Bethany College is taking measures to support these students, ensuring they can confidently plan their academic future without financial worries.
The College is proud to guarantee $25,000 in gift aid for all first-time Fall 2024 residential students who have not received an estimated financial aid package from Bethany College. Gift aid is money you don’t have to pay back from Bethany, federal and state funds. This covers a substantial 67 percent of tuition, fees, and books. Additionally, if you are a full Pell grant recipient, your gift aid may increase to as much as $39,000 annually depending on additional federal and state grant eligibility.
When funding through the Direct Student Loan Programs, Direct Parent PLUS Loan Program, Federal Work Study, Self-Help Aid (Savings, Summer Earnings, etc.), and outside aid is taken into consideration, Bethany College can provide both in and out-of-state students with a total financial aid package that meets 100% of your need.
