Kenneth Dean Cook

KENNETH DEAN COOK, 61, of Weirton, WV, passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2024. Born on December 31, 1962, Ken was one of two sons born to Kenneth Earl Cook and Lois Ann Chambers Cook. Ken graduated from Weir High School and embarked on a career path that exemplified hard work and commitment. He provided for his family by working as a bucket operator for over 20 years for a variety of companies. Family was the cornerstone of Ken’s life, and his devotion to them knew no bounds. He was a loving husband to his wife, Misty Fletcher Cook, whom he married on March 28, 2008. Together, they shared a bond built on mutual respect, affection, and companionship. Ken was a devoted father to his sons, Dakota and Kaden Cook, his daughter, Skyla Cook, and his stepson, Austin Rinkes. His love for his children was evident in every moment he spent with them. In addition to his immediate family, Ken is survived by his brother, Danny Cook, his nephews and nieces, Danny Lee, Shawn, Zoee and Madison; his great nieces and nephew, Emma and Grace Cook, Hazel and Wyatt Irwin, and Ariella Grayson, all of whom he loved. Outside of work and family, Ken found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. He cherished moments spent fishing, camping, and surrounded by his wife and children. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Earl Cook and Lois Chambers Cook. There will not be any formal services.
