Donald Eugene Winters

DONALD EUGENE WINTERS, 87, of Tomball, TX died peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Heart-to-Heart Hospice in Houston, TX. Donald was born on June 23, 1936, in Washington, PA, a son of the late George W. and Ellen I. (Mounts) Winters. In addition to his parents Donald is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Myra (Cunningham) Winters; a daughter, Deborah Rankin; three brothers, Harry R. Winters, George C. Winters, and Maynard R. Winters; and one sister, Evelyn J. Millsaps. After high school he went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Navy. Donald was a member of the Lakehurst United Methodist Church in Lakehurst, NJ and the Independence United Methodist Church and Rosehill United Methodist Church in Tomball, TX and he was a retired self-employed contractor and glass machine operator. Donald is survived by one son, Donald Joseph (Cecilia) Winters of Tomball, TX; a brother, Kenneth and Regina Winters of Clermont, FL; sister-in-law, Shirley Winters of Wellsburg, WV; three grandchildren, Twyla (Colt) Orosz, Ashley (Cory) Henn, and Brianna Winters; three great grandchildren, Austin, Jayce, and Brady; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation for Donald will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 2-6 p… and again on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee, with Pastor Craig Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow in Independence Cemetery in Independence, PA. Full military honors will be conducted by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad and the Navy Honor Guard.
