Millie Marie Buchanan

MILLIE MARIE BUCHANAN, 66, of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Brightwood Center, Follansbee, WV. Born on November 4, 1957, in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Clarence and Jessie (Long) Williams. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson Victor Buchanan. Millie graduated from Brooke High School in 1976 and worshipped the Lord at the Follansbee Nazarene Church. Throughout the years she was a caring mother and grandmother. Surviving is her loving husband of 41 years, Rev. Russel A. Buchanan; three daughters, Jessica Williams and companion Timothy Dolatowski of Pittsburgh, PA, Amy Perrigan and husband Clarence of Follansbee, WV, and Melissa Wright and companion William Sandereth of Wellsburg, WV; a sister, Tillie Smith of Wellsburg; 12 grandchildren: Hunter, Hailey, Isabelle, Liliana, Adrianah, Gianna, Arionna, Raymond, Shaniqua, Awnya, Emma, and RoseAlynn; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the Follansbee Nazarene Church, with Rev. Larry Barkley and Rev. James Barnhart officiating. Inurnment was held privately.
