PUBLIC NOTICE
The City of Follansbee will be accepting applications for a laborer for the street department.
Job duties will include maintaining and improving physical facilities of the city including grass cutting/tree pruning, carpentry, pouring concrete, salting roads, and making the city clean and wholesome. A CDL license is preferred/helpful. Public Works will report directly to the City Manager.
All applications must be received by April 22, 2024 at 3 p.m. Applications can be picked up and dropped off at the City Building, 872 Main Street, Atgtention: City Manager Joseph DiBartolomeo between 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday or e-mailed to [email protected]. Resumes may be attached, if deemed applicable.
The term of employment will begin approximately May 14, 2024.
Starting hourly wage will be $15 and includes a full benefit package which includes 100% paid health insurance with GAP coverage, eye and dental plans and WV State Retirement.
Appointments for t he position may be made from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
