Charles Arthur Taylor

CHARLES ARTHUR TAYLOR, 74, of Follansbee, WV died peacefully on April 10, 2024, at Weirton Medical Center with his family by his side. Charles was born on May 15, 1949, in Weirton, WV, a son of the late Dennis and Alice (Harris) Taylor. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Taylor; two brothers, Dennis “Denny” and Donald Taylor; and one sister, Carolyn McBee. Charles proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Marines. He worked for Rockdale Metal as a truck driver and the Wellsburg Moose Lodge as a custodian. He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Carol Posey at home; four children: Diane Welling of Steubenville, OH, Cassie Taylor, Melissa (Dave) Henline, and Dan (Tonya) Posey all of Follansbee, WV; seven grandchildren: Courtney Tiger, Josey Tassey, Ashlee Llewelyn, Emily Gear, Dylan White, Melissa Posey, and Zach Tweedy; eight great grandchildren; three brothers: Wayne (Sylvia) Taylor, Richard (Cleo) Taylor, and Walter (Peggy) Taylor all of Wellsburg; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. There was no visitation. All services and inurnment were held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were under the direction of Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
