PUBLIC NOTICE

The Brooke County Commission is accepting applications for full-time and part-time maintenance worker/custodian. The applicant will be expected to perform routine manual cleaning and maintenance tasks in Brooke County public buildings. Examples of essential duties incluce, but are not limited to, the following: sweep, scrub, mop, vacuum and clean carpet, flooring and rugs; clean, dust, polish all furniture, woodwork; empty waste receptacles and outside ashtrays; clean stairways, hallways, restrooms; replenish toiletries and other supplies; assisting in moving and arranging furniture and equipment. Additional duties may be assigned.
Additional qualifications for basic maintenance and repair are helpful.
Minimum qualifications include one year of verifiable experience in the same or similar maintenance/custodial work.
Driver’s license, smart phone for electronic time keeping, clear background check and drug testing are also required.
