Mary Louise (Ferrelli) Arlia

MARY LOUISE (FERRELLI) ARLIA, 93, of Follansbee, WV died peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Serra Manor in Weirton, WV. She was born on September 8, 1930, in Follansbee, WV, a daughter of the late Daniel and Anna (Santucci) Ferrelli. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by one daughter, Roseann Auteri; a stepdaughter, Diora Lee Bradley; three sisters, Helen Ferrelli Pompa, Dora and Antoinette Ferrelli; and three brothers, Philip, Pete, and John Ferrelli; two brothers-in-law, Patsy Marchetti and Frank Pompa; two sisters-in-law, Betty and Agnes Ferrelli; and a nephew, Alfred Pompa. Mary graduated from Steubenville Catholic Central. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Garibaldi, ISDA, Sons of Italy, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, Marine Corp Auxiliary, and Brooke County Democratic Women. Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Gabriel Arlia at home; one daughter, Roxann (David) Pereira of Narragansett, RI; two grandsons, Kyle David Pereira and Matthew Allen Tarr; one great granddaughter, Alxus Marie Tarr; one great-great granddaughter, Adiceina Tarr; two sisters, Gina Marchetti and Sylvia Wendt of Follansbee, WV; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation for Mary was held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, with a Vigil Service at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee. A Catholic Funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 19, 2024 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Follansbee. Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee.
