MARK FRANCIS STANTON, 68, of Weirton, WV died peacefully on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, with his family by his side at PAM Health in Oakdale, PA. He was born on September 3, 1955, in Springfield, MA, a son of the late Paul and Rita (Dragon) Stanton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife Hazel Stanton. Mark graduated from East Longmeadow High School. He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church and worked for Atwood Security as a Security Guard. Mark is survived by three brothers: Neil (Francisca) Stanton of Chula Vista, CA, James (Febe) Stanton of St. Johnsbury, VT, and Paul (Jane) Stanton of Southwick, MA; one sister, Maureen (Bill) Schmidt of Rincon, Puerto Rico; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. There was no visitation. All services and inurnment were held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were under the direction of Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
