ZOE ELENI ANTONIOU, 26, of Weirton, WV, tragically passed away on Saturday morning, April 20, 2024. Born on,June 18, 1997, in Havre de Grace, Maryland, Zoe was a radiant spirit, cherished by all who knew her. A graduate of Weir High School in 2015, Zoe was known as everyone’s “hype girl,” always ready to cheer on her friends and family with infectious enthusiasm and unwavering support. Her sensitivity and kindness defined her; she truly had a heart of gold, always placing the needs of others before her own. Zoe’s sense of humor and wit brought laughter and light to every gathering, making her a joy to be around. She had a deep personal relationship with God, which guided her through her life’s challenges and triumphs. Despite life’s ups and downs, her spirit remained unshaken, always ready to face the next challenge with a smile. Zoe’s passions were as varied as her musical tastes, spanning rap, country, and R&B. She loved to spend her free time coloring and journaling, activities that reflected her creative and introspective nature. Above all, Zoe cherished the moments spent with her beloved family and friends, and her dog, Blu whom she loved deeply. Zoe was preceded in death by her grandparents Callie Antoniou and Jack Stevens. She leaves behind a loving family: her mother, Jennifer Stevens (Marcel Majors); her father, James “Jimmy” Antoniou and his wife Karen; her grandparents, George P. Antoniou and Carla Hess Stevens; her sister, Gabriella Antoniou; and her cherished pit bull, Blu-Stink, who she referred to as “Her Son”. Zoe’s life was a testament to love, generosity, and kindness. Zoe’s memory will be cherished and kept alive in the countless lives she touched. Visitation was held Friday, April 26, 2024 at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, Weirton.
