SEAN MICHAEL DOUGLAS, 50, of Steubenville, OH, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at his residence after a brief illness. Sean was born on November 17, 1973 in Steubenville, OH. He was the son of Theresa (Makara) Douglas Huff Habbit and the late Samuel K. Douglas. Sean was an arborist working with Aspen Tree Trimming and excelled to the rank of Foreman of the work crew. He was Catholic and attended St. Anthony Catholic Church as well as many other churches in the area stopping to reflex, pray and refreshment. Sean had a deep faith in God. In addition to his father, Sean was preceded in death by his step fathers, Clark A. Huff and Earl J. Habbit. In addition to his mother, Sean is survived by his daughter and the apple of his eye, Peyton Pruitt Kriebel – age 12; four siblings: Nathan and Natasha Douglas, Paul Huff, Sr. and his wife, Amber and Kara Clevenger and her husband, Danny; two nieces; two nephews; a great niece; and a Godmother and Aunt, Susan “Susie” Targoss and her husband, Ed. Family and friends were received on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 until the time of Liturgy of the Word at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, with Deacon Maedke presiding. Interment was held privately at St. John Haven of Rest Cemetery, Colliers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to James Funeral Home, 1245 Main Street, Follansbee, WV 26037 to assist his family during this time.
