KEVIN WAYNE FIBER, SR., 68, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at his residence under the care of his family with the assistance of Valley Hospice. Kevin was born on September 6, 1955 in Steubenville, OH. He was the son of the late Dale Fiber and Ruth (Davis) Fiber. Kevin retired from Banner Fibreboard. He was a member of The Foundery Church. Many will remember him for his love of restoring old cars. In addition to his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Fiber. Kevin is survived by his wife, Shirley (Meneely) Fiber, of Wellsburg, WV; three children: Kevin Fiber, Jr. and his wife, Tina of Wellsburg, Amy Guthrie and her husband, Brian of Parkersburg, WV, and Rich Fiber and his wife, Theresa of Weirton, WV; six grandchildren: Courtney, Stephanie and Austin Fiber, Kaci, Payton and Tyler Guthrie; three siblings: Rick Fiber of Wellsburg, Mark Fiber of Iowa and Vickie Galloway of Wellsburg’ and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends were received on Sunday, May 12, 2024 and again on Monday, May 13, 2024 until the time of the funeral service at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, with Pastor Dave Keister officiating. Interment followed at Independence Cemetery, Avella, PA with a luncheon following at The Foundery Church.
