LEGAL NOTICE

In the Circuit Court of Brooke County, West Virginia, Brooke County Courthouse, 302 Courthouse Square, Wellsburg, WV 26070, Judge David J. Sim, Civil Action No. 24-C-27, RAYMOND OWENS and DAVID OWENS Petitioners vs. ALLEN SCOTT JOHNSON; ROBIN MICHELLE JOHNSON; WARREN RAY JOHNSON; DEBORAH SUE CRAIG; JAMES E. CRAIG; VICTORIA LYNN OWENS; ROBERT V. OWENS; CHARLES LAWRENCE JOHNSON; and THE UNKNOWN HEIRS AND/OR ASSIGNS OF: JESSICA CAMPBELL TOOTLE, HARRY K. TOOTLE, and JESSIE CAMPBELL HILL, Respondents.
Pursuant to Rule 4 (e)(1) of the West Virginia Rules of Civil Procedure, you are required to answer the Petioners’ Complaint – in the above title matter – who seeks to quiet title in Real Property (i.e. minerals, including oil and gas) located in BROOKE COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA, [Legal Description Below]. Petitioners are demanding a deed be executed in their names with all other adverse interest being extinguished. In case of your failure to answer/respond, judgment will be rendered against you according to Petitioner’s demand. Since your whereabouts are unknown and the ordinary process of law cannot be served upon you, a copy of this LEGAL NOTICE shall be published in the newspaper once per week for three successive weeks. The Petitioners’ Attorney is J. Anthony Edmond. Jr. Esquire, at 1300 Market Street, Suite 102, Wheeling, WV 26003. A copy of Petitioners’ Complaint may be obtained from the Brooke County Circuit Clerk at the address listed above. Each named defendant must appear and defend on or before a date set forth in the order. You are directed to answer/respond in this matter within thirty (30) days after the first publication of this LEGAL NOTICE.
