JOHN KELLY BASSETT, SR., 55, of Wellsburg, WV passed away May 26, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. John was born June 3, 1968, in Wheeling WV, to Wyvonna Vandruff Rothwell and the late Austin Bassett. He is survived by his wife, Marsha Dight Bassett; stepfather, David Roger Rothwell; sons: John K. Bassett Jr. and fiancé Brittany Cunningham, and Tyler J. Bassett and fiancé Jessica Tredway; grandchildren: Aria Bassett, Carson, Paisley, Savannah, and Eli Butler; sisters, Charlotte McDonough and Jeff, Arietta Brown and Chris, and Pamela Kirkpatrick and Lonnie; brothers-in-law: David Dight and Janet, and Aaron Dight; and nieces and nephews: Destiny and Cody Dight, Ashley McDonough, Arietta Adams, and Brandon Bassett.
