ANTHONY SAM GUGLIELMO, a beloved son, brother, caregiver, and friend, passed away suddenly on June 4, 2024, at the Weirton Medical Center. He was born on August 17, 1962, to Salvatore and Mary Catherine Guglielmo, and was one of four cherished children in the family. Anthony’s journey began in Blackduck, Minnesota, where he graduated from Blackduck High School in 1981. Following his passion, he dedicated his entire professional life to the art of hairstyling and cosmetology, where he showcased his talent and creativity as a self-employed stylist. Beyond his professional endeavors, Anthony was known for his vibrant personality and infectious laughter. He possessed a natural gift for storytelling and had an uncanny ability to infuse humor into every situation. His goofy antics brought joy to those around him, and his love for jokes was a constant source of merriment for his friends and family. Anthony’s caring nature extended beyond laughter; he was a compassionate caregiver, particularly to his grandmother and mother. His devotion to his family was unparalleled, and he never hesitated to lend a helping hand or offer support whenever needed. He exemplified the true essence of familial love through his daily visits to his mother in the nursing home and his unwavering commitment to their well-being. A man of strong faith, Anthony was known for his honesty and straightforwardness. He spoke his mind without hesitation, always staying true to his convictions and principles. His authenticity and sincerity endeared him to many, as he was never afraid to express his thoughts with clarity and conviction. Anthony enjoyed baseball, particularly the Pittsburgh Pirates. He found joy in cheering for his favorite team, and his enthusiasm was contagious to all who knew him. Anthony Sam Guglielmo leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and genuine kindness. His presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched. Anthony was preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish Anthony’s memory with love and admiration are his siblings, Bernadette (David) Aguilera of Tenstrike, MN, JulieAnn Guglielmo (Didier) of Minneapolis, MN., Joseph Guglielmo, of Seal Beach, CA., nieces Analise Irakoze and Josibeth Noelle Aguilera, and nephew David Aguilera. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Weirton. Inurnment followed immediately in Resurrection Cemetery, Coraopolis, PA.
