THELMA ROSE KIMBALL, 85, of Colliers, WV died peacefully on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Weirton Medical Center. She was born on February 7, 1939, in St. Mary’s, WV a daughter of the late Alva and Oma (Moore) Bunner, Sr. In addition to her parents Thelma is preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Gene Kimball, Sr; a daughter, Diana Rose Garrison Bunner; three sisters, Anna Mae Bennet, Wanita Bailey, and Hazel Dawson; two brothers, Alva W. Bunner (Junior) and Roger Larry Bunner; one grandson, Danny Garrison, Jr.; and one great grandson, Declan Fadse. Thelma was a member of the Colliers Nazarene Church. She worked many years for Fishers Big Wheel. She enjoyed volunteering at the Salvation Army and devoted her life to her church and family. She is survived by three children: Delbert (Gloria) Kimball, Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA, Linda (Bradley) Fowler of Burgettstown, PA, and Larry (Renada) Kimball of Colliers, WV; nine grandchildren: Ginger (James), Amanda (Greg), Kara (Alex), Lisa (Rick), Marcus (Morgan), Rachel (Matt), Matthew, Michael, and Paul; seven great grandchildren: Deven, Preston, Brittany, Karter, Brycen, Waylon, and Stella; five great-great grandchildren: Hunter, Jaden, Jordan, Briella, and Colt; two sisters, Zana Belle (Earl) DeLong of Waiteville, WV and Irma Jean McDowle of Parkersburg, WV; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation was held Friday, June 7, 2024 until the time of the funeral service, with Rev. Tim Sandy officiating at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee. Interment followed at St. John Haven of Rest Cemetery, Colliers. Memorial contributions can be made to Mullenbach Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
