Joann Helen Pursley Wellman

JOANN HELEN PURSLEY WELLMAN, 85, of Follansbee, WV passed away August 2, 2024, at Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV. JoAnn was born September 13, 1938, in Follansbee, WV to the late William Ruby and Laura Edith Wilcox Pursley. She was a member of the Wellsburg Nazarene Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Wellman who passed away Sept. 17, 2004; a stepson, John Wellman; and a sister, Gladys Huff. JoAnn is survived by her son, Gene Westfall and Penny of Wellsburg, WV; daughter, Cindy Casto of Wellsburg; step-son, Dwayne Wellman and Lisa of Youngstown, OH; step-daughter, Janet Wellman of Wellsburg; daughter-in-law, Sherri Wellman of Austintown, OH; sister, On-a-Lee Winski of Follansbee,WV; eleven grandchildren: Shane Casto, Crystal Casto, Sabrine Westfall, Sean Wellman, Jeff Wellman (Emily), Erica Arras (Ryan), Timothy Martin, Jr., Nick Martin, Codie Martin, Amber Hannen, and Duane Wellman; and one great grandson, Hayden Casto. Visitation was held Tuesday, August 6, 2024, until the time of the service at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg, with Pastor Brian Knight officiating.
