LISA LEANN SPONAUGLE, 65, of Weirton, WV passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 1, at Weirton Medical Center. Born on May 24, 1959, in Pittsburgh, PA, Lisa was the cherished daughter of Joseph and Ruth Fitzgerald Kautzman. Lisa received her education in the Sto-Rox School District. She was a woman of faith, whose life was marked by her devotion to her family, especially her grandchildren. Known for her sharp wit and dry sense of humor, Lisa could bring laughter to any serious situation. She never met a stranger and wore her heart on her sleeve, always ready to share what she had with those she loved. A true music enthusiast, Lisa had a particular fondness for the melodies of Conway Twitty and enjoyed listening to country music. She was also a devoted fan of Bruce Willis, finding joy in his films. Lisa’s generosity, humor, and boundless love for her family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents. Left behind to cherish her memory and the constant love she gave are her children James (Joy) Cox of Virginia Beach, VA., Clinton Bond of Wellsburg, daughters Mandy Cox of Tensed, Idaho, and Cara Bond of Weirton, grandchildren, Chase Garlitz, Skyla Hirkala, Olivia Hirkala, Rylan Renziehausen, Daniel Kuhns, Jocelyn Bond, Zoey Bond, Austin Bond, Clayton Bond, Landen Cox, Kylee Cox, and Sebastian Cox, additionally Lisa is survived by three brothers and three sisters. Lisa’s request for cremation has been honored. She was cremated at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home Crematory, Weirton. A “Celebration of Life” will be held by Lisa’s family at a later date.
