Karol Lee Bable

KAROL LEE BABLE, 89, of Weirton, WV passed away peacefully on August 25, 2024. Born on January 15, 1935, in Moundsville, WV, Karol was the eldest of three daughters born to Robert and Margaret (Scheink) Yoho. Karol was a loving mother to five children, a proud grandmother to ten, and a great-grandmother to numerous great-grandchildren. Known for her impeccable style and love for life, she was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan & collector of beautiful Victorian furniture. Karol’s dedication to studying her family genealogy and her unwavering faith in God were central to her life. She nourished her faith at Springhill Baptist Church in Brooksville, FL, and Evangel Baptist Church in Weirton, WV. Her love for animals, especially cats, was well known. She had a special place in her heart for stray cats, often taking them in and nursing them back to health. In addition to her parents, Karol was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Chambers, and her son-in-law, William Klinsky. She is survived by her two sons, D. Kim (Janice) Bable and Erick J. (Jenny) Bable; her three daughters, Melissa “Misty” Wood, Lorinda Klinsky, and Karrie Bable; her sister, Bobbi Davis; her ten grandchildren, and her numerous great-grandchildren. A private service was held at Forest Lawn Gardens. Cremation was under the care Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home Crematory, Weirton.
