Norbert F. Pollock

NORBERT F. POLLOCK, 90, of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA with his family by his side. Norbert was born on July 24, 1934, in Wellsburg, WV son of the late Walter and Freya (Strohmeyer) Pollock. In addition to his parents, Norbert is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Kay Pollock on December 24, 2022, and his brother Walter. Norbert proudly served his country in the United States Army and was Christian by faith. He worked at Eagle Manufacturing where he met his love of his life Martha Kay and later Standard Slag as a heavy equipment operator. He spent his whole life taking care of the Pollock family farm. He is survived by three children, Matt Pollock, Kelly (Roy) Hudson, and Mark Pollock; several grandchildren, among them, Eric (Cassy) DeWitt; and one great granddaughter, Penelope DeWitt. Visitation for Norbert was held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, until the time of the funeral service, with Pastor Joy Leasure officiating, at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
