William Ladiges Rapp

WILLIAM LADIGES RAPP, 73, of Weirton, WV died peacefully on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at the VA Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born on July 24, 1951, in New York City, New York, a son of Janice (Ladiges) Rapp of Phoenix AZ and the late Alfred Joseph Rapp. William proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as a Mechanic in a Copper mine in AZ and later as a Card Dealer for Mountaineer Casino. In addition to his mother, William is survived by his beloved wife, Linda (Miller) Rapp of Weirton, WV; three children: Melissa (Tom) Knowles of Bicester, England, David Rapp of Tucson, AZ, and Matthew Rapp of Charlotte, NC; two bonus children, Kelli Black and Harry (Melia) Black, all of Pittsburgh, PA; one brother, Alan (Mary) Rapp of Phoenix, AZ; two grandchildren, Eloise and Cooper Knowles; his best friend, Tommy (Cathy) Fuentes of Tucson, AZ; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation for William will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 2–4 p.m. at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee. Inurnment will be held privately.
