Children’s “Grab and Go” Pumpkin Decorating Contest at the Library

The Brooke County Public Libraries will be providing a grab and go activity. Reserve a bag, schedule a pick-up, and work on at home!
You will receive a pumpkin and a bag of supplies to decorate your pumpkin. Decorate your pumpkin at home (you can also use supplies from home). If you would like a chance to win a prize, bring your completed pumpkin to the Wellsburg Applefest on Saturday, Oct. 5, between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. at the library booth near town square to be judged. Winners will be announced and pumpkins can be picked up at 12:30 p.m. The contest is open for ages preschool–8th grade. Pumpkins, supplies and prizes are provided by the Wellsburg Applefest Committee.
Pumpkins are limited. Register by calling 304-737-1551 or visit https://brookecountylibs.org/events. You will receive a call to pick up your pumpkin at your selected library when they are available (starting September 30).
