David John Frey, Sr.

DAVID JOHN FREY, SR., 77, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away at home September 21, 2024. David was born August 4, 1948, in Wheeling WV to the late Marian Price Harris. He worked as an independent driver for 1st Choice Delivery, retired from Follansbee Steel and was a Football referee for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife and the love of his life, Sharon White Frey; two sons, David Frey, Jr. and Jessie of Wellsburg, WV, and Christopher Frey and Sydney of Wellsburg; one daughter, Michelle Frey of Wellsburg; four brothers: Richard Frey and Jennifer of Wheeling, WV, Robert Harris of Wellsburg, Paul Harris and Judy of Wheeling, and Charlie Harris of Wellsburg; three sisters: Veronica Mushet of Wheeling, Ann Robinson of Ohio, and Jeanette Harris Degarmo of Wellsburg; and four grandchildren: Elodie Frey, Duke Longworth, Brandi Frey, and Layla Frey. Visitation was held Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg, and again on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 until the time of the Liturgy of the Word service, with MSGR Bokhos Chidiac as Celebrant.
