F. ALBERT LANCASTER, 93, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away on September 19, 2024 at his residence. Albert was born on September 10, 1931 in Atwood, WV. He was the son of the Friend and Aunda (Miller) Lancaster. Albert served proudly in the Untied States Air Force during the Korean War stateside. He retired as a Oxygen Plant Operator for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Many will remember Albert for his work with Ham Radios and being Past President of the Tri-State Amateur Radio Club. In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann (Richea) Lancaster; son, Randy Behanna; and two brothers, LeLand Miller and Vaughn T. Lancaster. Albert is survived by his two daughters: Joyce Gibson and her husband, Edward of Wellsburg, WV and Judith Price of Chapmanville, WV; a daughter-in-law, Loretta Behanna of New Cumberland, WV; Ten grandchildren; Seventeen great grandchildren; two brothers, Okey “Max” and Ray Lancaster; and several nieces and nephews.
