Join us at the Brooke County Public Library for free family nutrition classes offered by the WVU Extension Office. Eating smart, being active is geared toward adults and is delivered over nine weeks in a small group setting. Participants will learn to prepare health, tasty meals for their families, save money at the grocery store and get more physical activity in their day-to-day lives. Participants receive kitchen items to help with home food preparation and after completing the series, they receive a graduation certificate and cookbook.
The classes begin on Wednesday, Oct. 16, from 12:30–2 p.m. and will continue every Wednesday for nine weeks.
To register, contact Love Wood at the extension office, 304.737.3666 or email her at [email protected]. Class space is limited.
