James Glenn Lilly

JAMES GLENN LILLY, 71, of Follansbee, WV, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at his residence. James was born on August 20, 1953 in Wheeling, WV. He was the son of the late Albert Lilly and Edith Elizabeth (Williams) Lilly. James graduated from Jefferson Community College as an Electrical and Mechanical Engineer. He retired after nearly 40 years of service from Weirton Medical Center as the Facilities Maintenance Director. Many will remember James for his enjoyment of watching the Pittsburgh Steelers; but most of all, spending time with his grandchildren and family. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his two siblings, Linda Austin and Marybeth Lilly. James is survived by his wife of 42 years, Christine (Anderson) Lilly; three children: Michelle Lilly and her fiancé, Mingo Offenberger, Jennifer Robinson and her husband, Mike and Jake Lilly and his fiancé, Tyger Eltringham; four grandchildren: Lillian Blake, Jude Blake, Milo Robinson and Mary Jane Lilly; two siblings: David Lilly and his wife, Wilma and Peggy Lilly; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends were received on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 until the time of the funeral service at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee.
