Margaret “Peg” Tibbetts Nielsen

MARGARET “PEG” TIBBETTS NIELSEN, 75, of Beech Bottom, WV passed away October 13, 2024, at UPMC, Pittsburg, PA. She was born October 11, 1949, in Augusta, Maine to the late Roland and Clair Tuner Tibbetts. She was a truck driver for Union and was a member of the Wellsburg First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Harriet Gilbert and Dorothy Hammond. She is survived by her husband, Carl Nielsen, who she married on December 17, 1992; two sons: Michael O’Keef (Jen) of California and Joseph Magyar (Angela) of Alabama; two step-sons: Terrill Nielsen III of Roscoe and Ray Nielsen (Justine) of Washington, PA; two daughters: Melissa Scheel (Jeremy) of Wintersville, OH and Nerissa Magyar of Beech Bottom, WV; two brothers: Richard Tibbetts of Windsor Heights, WV and Timothy Tibbetts (Nancy) of New York; and several grandchildren. Visitation was held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg, and again, Friday, October 18, 2024, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Jared Jimenez officiating. Interment followed at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg.
