Edward Vincent McAllister, Sr.

EDWARD VINCENT MCALLISTER, SR., 65, of Weirton, WV died peacefully on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at his home. He was born on February 1, 1959, in Follansbee, WV, a son of the late Edward Mack and Charlotte (Patmon) McAllister. In addition to his parents, Eddie is preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Jodi McAllister; a brother-in-law, Manuel Hines; and a nephew, Samuel Wilson, Jr. Eddie was Baptist by faith and graduated from Weir High School. He did construction for various companies throughout his life. In Eddies spare time he enjoyed fishing and listening to music. He is survived by three children: Lisa (Renell) Cummings of Beaver, PA, Edward “Eddie” McAllister, Jr. (Susan) of Wintersville, OH, and Mariah McAllister of Wellsburg, WV; five grandchildren: Edward III, Kaiden, Quaeshawn, Jaida, and Miz; two great grandchildren, Shawn and Patience; four sisters: Joanne (Carl) Jones of New Cumberland, WV, Stephanie (Butch) Mastrantoni of Weirton, WV, Katherine Wilson of Columbia, SC, and Whitney Mellars of Naples, FL; seven brothers: Tony (Tracy) McAllister, Curtis (Sherry) McAllister, Robbie (Tammy) McAllister, Patrick McAllister (Maria) all of Weirton, WV, Todd (Michelle) McAllister of Wintersville, OH, Mike (Kim) McAllister of Colliers, WV and Phillip (Barbie) McAllister of Bessemer City, NC; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation for Eddie was held on Friday, October 25, 2024 until the time of the funeral service, with Pastor Rudy McAllister officiating, at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
