Priscilla Ann Shields

PRISCILLA ANN SHIELDS, 85, of Weirton, WV, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Weirton Medical Center. She was born August 4, 1939 in Piney Fork, OH, daughter of the late William and Anna Tatar Grabits. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Lester Ray Shields (2020); and aunt, Margaret Ruckman. Priscilla was a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Mingo Junction, OH. She worked for many years as a computer secretary at Weirton Steel Corporation. She had a love for dogs and cats, especially all her animals through the years. Priscilla is survived by her loving family, including her cousins and caretakers, Tammy Ruckman, known to Priscilla as “Tam-Tam”, and Terry Ruckman, known to Priscilla as “Terr-doo”; She is also survived by many loving cousins, friends, including Cathy and Rodger, and her four cats. Visitation was held Tuesday, November 19, 2024 until the time of a short service, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, Weirton. Interment immediately followed. Arrangements were entrusted to Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home, Weirton.
