JOB OPENING

The City of Follansbee is accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Police Officer. WV Law Enforcement Certification preferred.
The starting pay is $24.00/hour for WV certified officer. Benefits include Health care, dental, life and optical. PERS retirement is effective immediately upon hire. There is a 180 day probationary period for any new officer.

Applications can be obtained at the Follansbee City Building, 872 Main Street M-F from 8 AM to 5 PM. All submissions must be received by 5 PM on Friday, December 27, 2024. Successful applicants must pass pre-employment physical, background check and drug/alcohol screening.
