Julia Ann Jones

JULIA ANN JONES, 55, of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Brightwood Center with her family by her side. Born on November 27, 1968, in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Barbara (Smith) Aracich and Floyd Conner of Boise, ID. She is also preceded in death by her stepfather, Michael Aracich. Julia graduated from Brooke High School in 1986 and from West Virginia Northern Community College with a degree in Criminal Justice. She enjoyed her career in advertising at the Herald Star in Steubenville, OH. In her spare time, she enjoyed the company of her family and friends. In addition to her father Floyd (Judy) Conner of Boise, ID, she is survived by her devoted husband, Roger Jones at home; one son, Doug Conner of Wellsburg, WV; two sisters, Michelle Aracich and Amy Aracich, both of Wellsburg; a brother, Clay Conner of Boise, ID; her aunts Patricia (David) Pesta of Rayland, OH, Nancy Robinson of Buckeye, AZ, and Carol Smith of Dayton,OH; her uncle, William Conner of Reno, NV; her brother-in-law, Harold (Sheila) Jones of Wellsburg; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation for Julia was held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 until the time of funeral services, at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee, with Pastor Joy Leasure officiating.
