Smiley R. Miller

SMILEY R. MILLER, 71, of Wellsburg, WV died on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at UPMC Shadyside. Born on September 22, 1953, in Lake Charles, LA, son of the late Acie J. and Marianne (Lasseigne) Miller. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, John Lane Miller. Smiley retired as a hazardous material truck driver traveling over two million miles. Smiley was very talented in woodworking and fixing almost anything. He loved telling truck stories and cooking his Cajun food for his many friends. He was a genuinely kind human being who was ready to help anyone. He is survived by his wife, Jenny Wilkin Miller of Wellsburg, WV; a son, Derek J. (Stacey) Miller of Lake Charles, LA; and one granddaughter, Kegan Miller. He was also Papa and hero to his stepchildren, step-grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. All services and inurnment were held privately at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
